International player extends insulation contract for polymer plants

For an international customer in the petrochemical industry, we have been the trusted partner for maintenance work for many years. Their confidence was once again demonstrated when they extended the maintenance contract for insulation at two polymer plants in Antwerp.

What does a polymer plant do?

Polymer plants produce low density polyethylene (LDPE). In high-pressure reaction vessels, ethylene gas is converted into polymers, after which the gas is converted into a solid substance, plastic. The applications are numerous and ubiquitous in our world, from carrier bags and golf balls to high-tech film for solar panels.

Our local teams established a very positive working relationship with the local operational managers, resulting in a multi-year contract with a long-term vision.

Despite challenging market and global conditions, an agreement was reached to confirm their partnership with ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux in 2022.
