High potentials in action: Inspiration and connection for the future of ALTRAD

As part of Managing your Business, 3 Operational Managers organised an inspiring day for high potentials within our organisation. It was a special experience to see how these talents allowed themselves to be drawn into the vision and future strategy of the ALTRAD Group. The day offered not only insights, but also a lot of energy and interaction among the participants, which contributed to a sense of connection within the organisation.

Take-aways from the speakers

The sessions by our guest speakers, Jan Vanderstraeten (joint-CEO ALTRAD Group) and Philippe Saint André (Coach Montpellier Rugby Club), were definitely the highlights.

  • Jan Vanderstraeten gave a clear picture of ALTRAD Group's (future) strategy.
  • Philippe Saint-André bridged the gap between core values and the sport of rugby. He emphasised how teamwork, discipline and respect are not only essential in sport, but also play a crucial role in our work.

Launch goal and organisation

The aim of this day was not only to inspire our high potentials, but also to actively involve them in the direction of our organisation. We therefore chose a format that combined strategy with practical and symbolic insights, such as the link to rugby sport. This offered a unique and interactive way to make our core values tangible.

Results afterwards

Afterwards, we received very positive feedback from the participants. Many of them felt more connected to the organisation and motivated to promote our core values even more actively. The day not only gave them more insight into the strategy, but also concrete tools to translate it into their daily work.

Organisation: Bjorn Mampaey, Joeri Van hoof and Lesley Van Uffel
