Q: Can you tell us why innovation and creativity are so important for ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux and the industrial service sector in general?
A: Innovation is vital to the future of ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux and the industrial service sector in general. In our sector, there is a high demand for sustainable solutions that are cost-effective and that also improve the quality and safety of our services. By placing innovation and creativity at the center of our strategy, we can tackle these challenges and better serve our customers.
Q: How does ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux ensure that innovation and creativity are part of the company culture?
A: At ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux, innovation and creativity are not tasks for a few people, it is a mindset that everyone within the company should have. It is important that our employees have the space to think outside the box and develop new ideas. We do this, among other things, by organizing innovation competitions in which employees can think about solutions for specific challenges.
Q: Does this mean that innovation only comes from internal employees?
A: No, on the contrary. Innovation often comes from a different environment or sector. That is why, at ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux, we work closely with customers, suppliers, schools, governments, and other partners to discover and implement new ideas.
Q: Can you give us an example of how ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux innovates and contributes to the sustainability of the company?
A: An example of ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux's efforts in sustainability is the introduction of the digital work environment. By digitizing work processes and using data analysis, ALTRAD SERVICES Benelux can improve efficiency while reducing its environmental impact. This has not only led to a reduction in the company's ecological footprint but has also contributed to the improvement of service quality.
Another example is the use of access solutions (rope access, drone technology) for inspections and maintenance work in hard-to-reach locations. This has not only improved worker safety but has also led to a reduction in the time and costs required for maintenance work.
Q: Finally, what message would you like to convey to everyone interested in innovation and creativity (in the industrial service sector)?
A: Look around and be inspired! By constantly asking yourself, "What could this mean for my environment/business?" you often come up with surprising results.
